If you’ve already seen the usual safari routes or you’re looking for something different, this northern circuit is a great option. It takes you away from the crowded parks into a more rugged and unique part of Kenya.
Samburu is known for its special wildlife you won’t easily see elsewhere — like the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk. The landscape is drier, more dramatic, and feels completely different from the Mara.
Then you head to Ol Pejeta, where the experience changes again. It’s one of the best places to see rhinos up close and home to the last remaining northern white rhinos, as well as a chimpanzee sanctuary.
This safari is perfect if you want something exclusive, diverse, and a bit more elevated.
